A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Just over twenty years ago, I walked away from a career as a corporate accountant and management consultant—not because I wasn’t good at it, but because I could already feel the ceiling pressing down. The limitations. The lack of recognition. The way my contributions were praised in meetings but never truly rewarded.

I had a high hourly billable rate that made my employers a lot of money—but I saw only a fraction of the return. I wasn’t seen, heard, or valued in the way I deserved. And I know I’m not alone in that.

So I built something different. I launched Angeline & Associates, LLC, my own boutique accounting and consulting firm, because I knew I could do more—and do it on my own terms.

Over time, I realized it wasn’t just the numbers I loved—it was the compliance, structure, and audit-proof clarity that came from deep financial knowledge. This insight led me to define two operational arms: specialized financial compliance (A. Smith Bookkeeping) and high-level strategic guidance (A. Smith Strategies).

WHERE I AM NOW

Today, through A. Smith Bookkeeping, I provide specialized, guaranteed financial compliance services. While my initial focus is on rental property investors who need to maximize tax savings and eliminate audit risk, this arm's focus is to serve any entrepreneur who operates a high-compliance business.

With over 20 years of full-time entrepreneurial experience, I am a QBO Cleanup Specialist and Profit Strategist who ensures your financial foundation is built for tax-ready accuracy. I don't just record transactions; I reengineer your bookkeeping process for precision.

I’m an introvert who thrives on deep, intentional connection. I’m also a cat mom—Sasha, my tortoiseshell rescue, keeps things lively. I'm also a dog lover. I lost my retired racing greyhound, Larry, in September 2025 at age 13. I had nine wonderful years with him and I miss him dearly. I live a calm, quiet life filled with strong coffee, good books, and daydreams about where in the world I’ll work from next.
